Biography

From Foundations to Visionary Leadership
Twenty years ago, my journey in construction began with a single toolbelt, an insatiable curiosity, and a determination to create something meaningful. What started as an entry-level position on a small residential project quickly grew into a passion for transforming blueprints into reality. Every brick I laid and every beam I secured became a building block for my career.
In the early years, I focused on learning the fundamentals, dedicating myself to mastering each task whether it was framing walls, pouring concrete, or studying structural designs. I worked under seasoned professionals who shared their wisdom, and I embraced every challenge as an opportunity to grow. The satisfaction of seeing a project completed fueled my desire to advance in the field.
By year five, I had progressed from a tradesman to a site supervisor. Managing teams and overseeing project schedules taught me the importance of leadership and communication. Around this time, I began taking on more complex commercial projects, honing my skills in project management, budgeting, and client relations.
At the 10 year mark, I decided to further my expertise by studying modern construction techniques, sustainable building practices, and advanced technologies. This knowledge allowed me to embrace innovative methods, helping projects run more efficiently while reducing environmental impact.
In my second decade, I ventured into entrepreneurship, founding my own construction company. Through hard work and a commitment to quality, I built a reputation for delivering excellence whether it was custom homes, commercial spaces, or large-scale infrastructure. My ability to balance creativity with practicality has earned the trust of clients and the respect of industry peers.
Today, I continue to approach each project with the same passion I had on my first day. Over 20 years, construction has become more than just a profession it's a reflection of who I am. From humble beginnings to managing a growing business, my journey has taught me that success isn’t just about building structures it’s about building trust, relationships, and a legacy that lasts.
Looking ahead, I aim to inspire the next generation of builders, sharing the lessons I’ve learned and contributing to projects that shape communities and improve lives.

Education Background: Building the Foundation
My construction journey began with hands-on training at top technical schools in Lancaster, PA, including Lancaster County Career & Technology Center (LCCTC) and Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology.

These institutions provided essential skills in construction, carpentry, and modern building techniques, laying the groundwork for my 20-year career in the industry.

Biography

From Amish Roots to Construction Leadership
I was raised by an Amish family, where I learned the value of hard work, integrity, and craftsmanship. Growing up, I worked the land, milked cows, and raised chickens, developing a deep respect for the simplicity and discipline of rural life. These formative years instilled in me a strong work ethic and a passion for building and creating with my hands.
I took the skills I learned on the farm and transitioned into the construction industry, starting my career as a contract manager for Wohlsen Construction. There, I honed my ability to oversee projects, manage teams, and deliver quality work on time and within budget. My dedication to craftsmanship and problem-solving earned me a reputation as a reliable leader in the field.
Later, I specialized in plumbing, becoming known as "The Plumber Man". This phase of my career allowed me to combine my hands-on expertise with a focus on precision and detail, providing critical infrastructure for homes and businesses. Today, I continue to apply the values and skills instilled in me during my Amish upbringing, building not just structures, but trust and lasting relationships with every project.
